Technology Insertion into Legacy Systems (TILS) provides a way to upgrade aging electronic test equipment with new functionality.
TILS makes it possible to replace or upgrade the individual elements of a test system without having to re-write, or re-validate, existing test programs. This makes it simple to extend the capabilities of an existing system and avoid the problems associated with individual components going obsolete.
